GET TO KNOW ME

Who am I?

Hi, I’m Ethan! A filmmaker and creative strategist based in the South of England.

My journey into photography and video began during the Covid lockdowns, when I, like many others, was looking for a creative outlet to stay sane while stuck indoors. I picked up a camera and started to see the world through a new lens (literally). What started as a hobby quickly grew into a full-blown passion. Before long, I’d invested in my first “high-end” camera, the Sony A7iii, and began experimenting with light, motion, and storytelling.

After nearly ten years in the banking industry, I decided to take a leap of faith in early 2024 and turn my creative pursuit into a full-time career. Those first months were spent capturing behind-the-scenes stories and live sessions across the music scene - documenting the energy, emotion, and authenticity that define real connection on screen.

Since then, Trimby Photography (now Trimby Productions) has evolved into something far more than photography and videography. I now specialise in performance-based visual strategy, helping brands bridge the gap between creativity and conversion through Meta ad creative.

I work directly with founders, marketing teams, and ad agencies - plugging into existing ad frameworks to create scroll-stopping content that aligns with brand identity while driving measurable results. My process blends cinematic storytelling with a deep understanding of ad performance, allowing brands to scale their content output without sacrificing authenticity.

I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with brands like DIRTEA, FourFive, and Welcome to Bob, developing creative systems that balance visual identity, strategy, and performance.

This journey has been nothing short of incredible - from shooting my first portrait to building a performance-focused creative studio. And it’s still only the beginning.

If you’re a brand or founder looking to take your visual storytelling, and your ad performance, to the next level… let’s connect.
